Welcome to the Institute of Psychology!

Our institute offers courses in the fields of cognitive psychology, educational psychology, developmental psychology, and psychological research methods for bachelor and master students enrolled in teacher education as well as special needs education and educational sciences programmes. Furthermore, we consult students and doctoral candidates of the Faculty of Humanities on how to conduct and realise quantitative or qualitative research projects. Our research focus is on language, development, and culture as well as memory and decision making.

During the semester break from 23 December 2024 up to and including 4 January 2025, the Institute of Psychology and the entire building 1135, Im Moore 11, will be closed.
